
Here is a guy who I've been really getting into the past few months. When I listen to him, I hear a Tom Waits who had never discovered the vices of alcohol and drugs. Not to say that KJP lacks that integral inhibition....his arrangements are loose and his vocals just kind of flow.
I've been hooked on this album around the midnight hour as I am hanging in that netherland of sobriety, slumber, and introspection.
